About Us

A Mission Rooted in Compassion

The Daisy Bridge was created to walk alongside single moms with practical support, trusted guidance, and community that restores hope.

Our Story

The Daisy Bridge began with a simple conviction: no single mom should carry crisis alone. Through local relationships and faith-informed care, our team responds with practical resources and relational support that help families find stability.

Mission

Single moms often carry overwhelming burdens without consistent support. The Daisy Bridge exists to come alongside them with practical help, meaningful relationships, and trusted guidance so they can move forward with hope.

Vision

To see single mothers strengthened by practical help, meaningful relationships, and hope-filled support that leads to greater stability for their families.

I spent many years as a single mom of four, carrying deep struggles without a support system to help me navigate. I give credit to the covenant strength that comes from my personal relationship with Christ as the reason I was able to make it through, but I also know how much support from a local ministry would have helped me in those years.

Single moms face many of those same struggles today. I believe that through the integral support of community and the unending love of Christ, more single moms and their children can be reached with practical help and lasting hope.

Today, I am a Grammie to ten precious grandbabies, and I thoroughly enjoy making memories with them.

Hi, I am Stephanie - a wife, a mother to twins Olivia and Donovan, and a woman whose life has been shaped by both heartbreak and healing.

I became a mom at a young age, and from the moment my babies were born, they became my reason for everything. I wanted to give them the life and love I never had growing up. In trying to build that life, I lost myself searching for it in the wrong people.

I became a single mom after entering a marriage I felt pressured into, believing it was the right thing to do at the time. By 19, I was divorced and trying to survive while raising two children on my own. I spent years struggling emotionally, financially, and mentally, searching for love and stability in unhealthy relationships because I believed love meant fighting to be enough for someone. That path eventually led me into a relationship filled with domestic violence, fear, and pain.

I remember hearing someone say, I am scared the next time we see her will be in a body bag. For the first time, I realized that if I did not leave, my children could grow up without me. Planning my escape was the hardest and bravest thing I have ever done.

For so long, I tried to fix my life through other people, when really I needed to learn how to stand on my own and heal. There were moments I felt broken beyond repair, moments I felt like I had failed my kids, and moments I truly did not know how we were going to make it. But somehow, we did.

Then God placed William in our lives.

William did not just love me - he loved my children as his own, and he loved us gently, patiently, and consistently. He came into our lives during a season when I had walls built high from survival and trauma, but he never made me feel too damaged to be loved. He showed me what safety felt like. He showed my children stability, kindness, and unconditional love.

For the first time in my life, love did not feel painful or something I had to earn. It felt peaceful.

In November 2025, I married my best friend, and it was more than a wedding. It was the closing of one painful chapter and the beginning of the life I used to pray for.

Today, my greatest joy is my family. I love being outside, playing with my kids, and creating the kind of home I once only dreamed of having. My story is not perfect, but it is proof that even after abuse, heartbreak, and starting over, healing is possible and that sometimes the life waiting on the other side is more beautiful than you imagined.

As a Christian single mom of four - Andrew, Jacey, Sydney, and Isabella - my hope and prayer is that they know Christ and that they see my strength comes from God. My purpose as their mother is to nurture, disciple, and cultivate a relationship with Christ through intentional relationship with them and others, while expressing my love for them and Christ through my artwork and modeling what grace looks like in real time.

A lot of people talk about faith, but I often express it best through creativity. I use the gifts God gave me as a form of testimony - not preaching at people, but revealing Christ through beauty, connection, and authenticity.

In my HR role at the Port Arthur Housing Authority, my calling and career intersect. Even on days that feel like paperwork and conflict mediation, I am still helping people find work, grow into better opportunities, navigate conflict, build healthier relationships, and feel seen and supported.

That is ministry too, just in a different building.

Hi, I am Kelli! I am a single mom to a beautiful daughter and son, and they truly light up my life. Becoming their mom has been the greatest joy of my life!

Like every journey, motherhood has come with both beautiful moments and difficult seasons. I have experienced joy and sorrow, uncertainty, and financial struggles, but through it all, I have seen the Lord faithfully bridge the gaps in my life.

I am immensely blessed to be a part of The Daisy Bridge. The women in this community have truly embraced me one hundred percent, and I have experienced firsthand the love, encouragement, and support that comes from being surrounded by women who genuinely care.

My hope is that other moms who walk through our doors feel that same love and sense of community and know that they are never alone. My journey is not perfect, but I am so grateful for the people God has placed in my life and excited to walk alongside other moms!
